Annually, the Modular Building Institute (MBI) presents the Awards of Distinction at the Annual Convention & Trade Show.
2007 Awards:
The modular buildings from HMS and Williams Scotsman were recognized for twelve Awards of Distinction including 2 "Best of Show" awards. View the complete list of our 2007 MBI Awards Winning Projects.
2005
Awards:
HMSI received first place in the temporary, education, 2,000-10,000 square feet category for their work at Kamehameha Schools Windward Mall Preschool and the special application category for Hawaii Air National Guard Tower Simulator Shelter. HMSI’s renovation of Kalaheo Elementary School received an Honorable Mention in the Renovated Reuse under 10,000 square feet category.
2004
Awards:
The Modular Building Institute recognized Hawaii Modular Space for the Ko'olani
sales office with First Place and Best of Show in its category. (Renovated reuse under 10,000 square feet).
2002
Awards:
HMSI
won Best of Show for both its own corporate office in Kapolei
and Schofield Army Headquarters. It took first place for
the Schofield Army Headquarters (for temporary offices over
5,000 square feet). The SeaMaids Bikini Shop, Haleiwa also
was awarded first place (for temporary single-wide modules).
Finally, HMSI came away with an honorable mention for the
Waipahu Police Training Academy (for permanent educational
buildings under 5,000 square feet).
